2006年10月，自主知识产权的首台三峡右岸电站水轮机转轮发运出厂

东方电机能够设计制造覆盖从40m到500m水头、容量从10mw到1000mw等级的混流式水轮发电机组产品，累计获得混流式水轮发电机组超过500台套，其中单机容量500mw及以上86台套。

东方电机能够设计制造覆盖从7m到30m水头、容量从6mw到80mw等级的贯流式水轮发电机组产品，累计为全球34个电站提供了131台套贯流式机组。为巴西杰瑞电站供货的22台套75mw机组，是世界上已经投运的容量最大、转轮直径最大的贯流式机组。

东方电机能够设计制造覆盖从10m到50m水头、容量从10mw到200mw等级的轴流式水轮发电机组产品，累计提供了134台套轴流式水轮发电机组，1981年投运的葛洲坝170mw机组是中国水电设备研制的里程碑，其11.3m的转轮直径迄今保持世界第。

2015年7月，仙居1号机定子在电站吊装成功。

2018年9月5日，深圳抽水蓄能电站4台300mw抽水蓄能发电机组全部投产发电

2019年12月30日，绩溪1号机成功投入商业运行

2022年3月，长龙山抽水蓄能电站研制的4台350mw抽水蓄能机组全部投入商业运行

东方电机能够设计制造覆盖从50m到850m水头、容量从10mw到450mw等级的抽水蓄能机组产品，累计获得了60台套抽水蓄能机组的供货合同。其中，长龙山抽水蓄能机组是水头世界第二、中国第一高的抽水蓄能机组。
